The Housing Regulation Administration is divided into two divisions: the Rental Conversion and Sale Division and the Rental Accommodations Division. Staffing of the Rental Housing Commission is also supported by DHCD. These functions were transferred to DHCD from the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs, beginning October 1, 2007.
The Housing Regulation Administration can be reached at (202) 442-4610. Residents can also visit the DHCD Housing Resource Center, located on the first floor at 1800 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, SE, Washington, DC 20020.
